ResponsibilitiesLead staff in performing clinical or patient care activities.
- Lead or coordinate daily operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates.
- Serve as a technical or functional resource and performs similar duties with staff.
- Assign, monitor, and review progress of work and compliance with policies and/or procedures.
- Oversee and evaluate orientation and training of assigned associates.
- May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance.
- Work with the providers in the clinic as well as administrative duties. Performs vitals.
- Design, interpret, and implement clinical policies and procedures.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart
Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job
transfer date. - Preferred Credential(s):
• Case Manager credentialed from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC).
Education:
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience
required.
- Bachelor's in Nursing, Current Illinois RN licensure
Minimum 5 years experience in behavioral/mental health nursing
Prior experience in a charge/lead RN role. - Mon-Thurs, 8AM-5:30PM Fri, 8AM-12PM
