Let’s talk.The RoleAs a Senior Director of Pre-Sales Solution Consulting, your mission is twofold: to lead a team in demonstrating how Amperity can address the diverse needs of potential customers, and to provide strategic direction in aligning our platform with their unique use cases. By deeply understanding their objectives and industry context, you will help them envision how our solutions integrate into their operations. You will empower your team to deliver customized strategies and collaborate across departments to map out the overarching direction and refine our approach to ensure successful customer solutions.ResponsibilitiesRecruit, enable, coach, and lead a team of Pre-Sales Solution Consultants to support Sales effortsBe a consistent, empathetic, and available thought partner for your team; bolster their technical expertise, foster collaborative problem solving, and share best practicesEnsure each Solution Consultant is set up for success with clear expectations, relevant enablement, and access to needed resourcesLead collaboration to identify opportunities for improvement, design effective solutions, and roll out cross-team strategiesContinuously learn the platform capabilities and advise on applicability to customer ecosystems and use casesCollaborate with cross-functional leaders across Sales, Pilots, Services, Product to iterate and improve how teams work together to deliver impactful solutionsAbout YouMinimum 15 years of experience in Pre-Sales Solutions consulting with a focus on marketing technology, customer data management, analytics, database management, or BI tool configuration and programmingMinimum 5 years’ experience leading a highly consultative group of Pre-Sales Solution ConsultantsPlayer-Coach with the ability to mentor and assist the team as neededCurious with a growth mindset and strong analytical and problem-solving skillsCustomer-focused leader who advocates for the clientAbility to explain complex concepts clearly and simplyThought leader in solution selling (discovery, demonstrations, workshops) with proven strategies used across a teamExperience with customer data technology — SQL, databases, data integration tools, APIs, Machine LearningLocationHybrid work model for employees based in Seattle, WA, and New York, NY, with three in-office days per week.CompensationBase Salary: $200,000-$270,000. Salary is determined by factors including market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications.Cash Incentives: Eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan; may include commissions and/or bonuses based on targets.Stock Options: New-hire equity grant commensurate with position scope.BenefitsWe offer comprehensive benefits including 100% employee healthcare coverage, transportation subsidies, snacks, and other perks.
