Simpson Place in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing RN to lead nursing operations in a long‑term and rehabilitative care facility. The role involves hiring, training, and supervising nursing staff, overseeing the development and implementation of resident care plans, and ensuring the highest quality patient care. Join our dedicated nursing administration support team that includes ADONs, wound care nurse, infection control, MDS nurses, staffing coordinator, and weekend supervisor, with regional and corporate support. Responsibilities Direct, supervise, and evaluate nursing staff work activities. Plan, implement, and administer nursing programs and services. Establish work schedules and assignments for staff based on workload, space, and equipment availability. Monitor the use of diagnostic services, inpatient beds, facilities, and staff to ensure effective resource utilization and identify needs for additional staff, equipment, or services. Requirements Current and valid RN license in Texas. Previous skilled nursing facility leadership experience with comprehensive understanding of clinical operations and regulatory compliance. Ability to recruit, mentor, develop, retain, and lead staff in a high‑expectation environment while delivering respect, dignity, and recognition. Highly organized with excellent communication skills.
