Director of Nursing RN Simpson Place Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing – Dallas, TX. Simpson Place offers a rewarding career at a facility specializing in long‑term and rehabilitative care. The Director of Nursing RN will hire and train nursing personnel, direct the provision of nursing services to residents, and oversee the development and implementation of resident care plans. The primary goal is to assure that residents receive the best possible quality care. We have a strong nursing administration support team, including ADONs, a wound care nurse, infection control preventionist, MDS nurses, staffing coordinator, weekend supervisor, and regional support with infection control, dietician, corporate clinical support and leadership. Responsibilities Direct, supervise, and evaluate work activities of personnel Plan, implement, and administer nursing programs and services Establish work schedules and assignments for staff based on workload, space, and equipment availability Monitor the use of diagnostic services, inpatient beds, facilities, and staff to ensure effective use of resources and assess the need for additional staff, equipment and services Provide direct nursing care as necessary Requirements Current/valid RN license in the state of Texas Previous skilled nursing facility leadership experience with comprehensive understanding of clinical operations and regulatory compliance Ability to recruit, mentor, develop, retain, and lead staff members in a high‑expectation environment that delivers respect, dignity, and recognition for achievement Highly organized with excellent communication skills Must exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Company Paid Life Insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Supplemental Voluntary Benefits Paid Time Off with Cash‑Out and Donation Options Paid Holidays Pay on Demand – Payday Advance Gym Membership and Fitness Program Discounts Employee Discounts on Everyday Purchases and Services Access to Automobile and Home Insurance Marketplace and more We look forward to you joining our team #J-18808-Ljbffr
