The platform invests in differentiated, asset-backed opportunities that offer investors attractive risk-adjusted returns and defensive exposure across private markets. This is an entrepreneurial and analytically driven environment that values initiative, creativity, and the ability to clearly articulate complex investment strategies to institutional audiences. While the firm has a West Coast presence, it is open to exceptional candidates based elsewhere in the US who can work effectively in a hybrid or remote capacity. The Opportunity The Head of Investor Relations will be the primary interface with institutional investors, responsible for driving fundraising across current and future private investment vehicles. Working closely with senior leadership, this individual will refine the firm’s positioning, deepen LP relationships, and broaden institutional reach across the US and globally. The role offers significant visibility and impact within a collaborative, entrepreneurial platform for someone who enjoys both the analytical and relationship-building sides of fundraising. Key Responsibilities Lead capital raising and investor engagement across structured and asset-backed strategies. Develop and manage relationships with pensions, insurers, endowments, foundations, consultants, and family offices. Translate complex investment structures into clear, compelling narratives for institutional audiences. Partner with leadership to refine positioning, messaging, and fundraising materials. Represent the platform externally at investor meetings, conferences, and industry events. Oversee investor communications, diligence responses, and reporting to ensure a high-quality LP experience. Key Requirements 12+ years of investor relations or fundraising experience, with a strong track record in private credit or alternative credit strategies. Demonstrated success in raising capital from leading institutional investors. Established LP relationships and the ability to open doors to new pools of capital. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex strategies into compelling narratives. Entrepreneurial mindset, with the drive to operate in a lean, fast-moving environment. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant licenses a plus.
