Sales Manager

Job Function:
The Sales Manager is responsible for the sales of new projects in a given territory. Experience in a high energy, self-motivated sales environment is a must. Ideal candidate would have relationships with building supply vendors for kitchen/vanity cabinets and stone countertop coverings, tub surrounds, custom closets, etc. for the multifamily sector.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive margin expansion wherever possible
- Complete research and partner with marketing to understand emerging trends and new opportunities
- Convert new opportunities into sold jobs and new customers
- Work cross-functionally with all areas, including Finance, Accounting, Contracts, Installation, and Supply Chain
- Set sales goals for Sales Team and monitor staff progress towards those goals.
- Compiling monthly sales reports.
- Calculating the commission that is payable to salespersons.
- Resolve customer complaints regarding services, products, and personnel.
- 5-15 years of project management experience in the construction industry
- 3+ years selling cabinets, stone, or any related product for multifamily, new construction
- Bachelor's degree in Construction or related field preferred
- Experience developing customers through lunch and learn presentations, cold calling, etc.
- Intermediate competency level in MS Office required. Project management tools (MS Project, SmartSheet) and CRM tool experience (i.e. Salesforce) a plus
- Ability to read blueprints required. An understanding of carpentry, building, and contracting is preferred.
- Flexibility in approach to different types of business problems and a willingness to change course to avoid project setbacks
- Able to create and establish structure and process across cross-functional teams
- Represent Republic Elite with pride and integrity
- Valid driver's license and ability to be covered under company insurance
- Ability to travel up to 50%
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to make visits to different company locations. Ability to walk up several flights of stairs
