Kendall Endoscopy & Surgery Center is a freestanding ambulatory surgery center. We are committed to safe, high-quality, patient-centered care delivered by a highly engaged team. We are home to board-certified physicians who have expertise in a number of gastrointestinal procedures, including colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy and upper endoscopy. We hold ourselves to the highest of standards, as our center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). Patient satisfaction is our primary goal. Our experienced physicians have dedicated themselves to caring for their neighbors in the South Florida community. When you walk through the door, you'll know you're in good hands. We are currently searching for a Full Time Registered Nurse to work Mondays - Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibilities include: prepares patients for procedures; assist physician during procedure; provides care for patients in recovery and actively participates in all Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities. Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills, be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse, maintain basic cardiac life support certification and ACLS, and have at least two years of registered nurse experience. Other skills requested: * Bilingual (English/Spanish) * Proficient IV skills (preferred) * Endoscopy experience preferred (will train) * Computer skills with electronic medical records required * NEW GRADS welcomed (will train) We are an equal opportunity employer.
