Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care members. Follows policies and procedures of Kendall Medical Center.

What qualifications you will need:
  • Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Minimum of 2 years of neonatal or pediatric ICU clinical experience preferred.
