Job Summary: Demand Planner needed for an immediate long-term contract opportunity in the Chicago, IL area. Seeking a highly motivated and resourceful demand planner just outside of Chicago, IL to support Engineering and Manufacturing to adjust PM and Calibration triggers for condition-based maintenance. The right person collaborates with various teams like supply chain, indirect procurement, maintenance, and plant engineering to maintain inventory levels, develop work schedules, update work plans, and resolve any supplier-related challenges. Degree preferred but will consider 3+ years of related demand planning within a manufacturing environment. Must have proven SAP and Excel skills for data input and to effectively plan workloads. If this sounds like you, apply now for this great opportunity Location: Melrose Park, Illinois Job Type: Contract Salary: $35.00 - 39.50 per hour Work Hours: 8am to 4pm Education: Associates Responsibilities: Review and update work plans as necessary and maintain ownership of the planning process. Work with Engineering and Manufacturing to adjust PM and Calibration triggers for condition-based maintenance. Participate in Job Safety Task Analysis to ensure all jobs are performed safely and effectively. Process preventative maintenance extensions and ensure compliance with our quality management system. Maintain cGMP records, both paper-based and electronic. Manage contract service providers, including scheduling, training on required SOPs, coordination, and ensuring all work and documentation aligns with cGMP requirements. Establish and report department metrics. Qualifications: Degree preferred along with 2 to 3 years' experience in demand planning within a manufacturing environment. Experience with SAP and Excel for data input to effectively plan workloads. Proven experience with maintaining cGMP records, such as SOPs, both paper-based and electronic. Experience working with quality management systems to process maintenance extensions ensuring compliance. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
