Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at DRC Heat Transfer (formerly Diesel Radiator Co.). As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods from suppliers to meet customer requirements.

This role involves purchasing activities, coordinating in-bound material and component logistics, and working closely with the inventory and production teams to support company production needs in a fast-paced, time-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing Activities: Place purchase orders for materials/components as required to support daily operations in multiple facilities.
  • Exception Management: Manage purchase order exceptions, such as cancellations, expedites, and deferrals.
  • Logistics Coordination: Manage and monitor in-bound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any shipping issues.
  • Communication: Communicate delivery issues to sales and production personnel.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Quality Control: Work with the Quality department to resolve quantity and incoming inspection issues.
  • Cost Containment: Quickly address invoice/pricing discrepancies.
  • Supplier Qualification: Assist in new and/or existing supplier qualification and/or evaluation tasks.
  • Cost Reduction: Perform cost-containment and cost-reduction projects as assigned by Management.
  • Inventory Activities: Assist with inventory activities.
Requirements
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, a college degree is preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of purchasing related experience is a plus.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal skills, outstanding attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality, light physical demands, some reaching, standing, bending, lifting, and prolonged sitting.
