ServiceNow SACM / Discovery Technical Architect Job Title: ServiceNow SACM / Discovery Technical Architect Job Location: Charlotte, NC - Hybrid Onsite Domain: Finance Local Candidates are Highly Preferred Interview Process: 3 rounds & Final or 3rd Round will be In-person (F2F) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Discovery Solutions Architect to support solution design, provide technical recommendations, and drive best‑practice implementations in the SACM/Discovery space. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ServiceNow Discovery, including Cloud Discovery, strong knowledge of CSDM/CMDB, and a solid understanding of Cloud infrastructure concepts to ensure accurate visibility into IT assets and services. Key Responsibilities Design and recommend technical solutions for SACM and Discovery initiatives aligned with ServiceNow best practices. Lead and optimize ServiceNow Discovery implementations, including Cloud Discovery (AWS/Azure/GCP), patterns, probes, and sensors. Ensure accurate CMDB/CSDM data modeling, CI relationships, and end‑to‑end configuration governance. Collaborate with Cloud, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams to align discovery coverage with enterprise requirements. Troubleshoot discovery issues and improve data quality, MID Server performance, and discovery strategies. Required Skills & Experience 5–10+ years overall IT experience, including strong expertise with ServiceNow Discovery. Hands‑on experience with Cloud Discovery (AWS/Azure/GCP). Deep understanding of CSDM, CMDB, SACM processes, and data modeling. Experience with cloud concepts such as VMs, VNets, load balancers, storage accounts, firewalls, containers, Kubernetes, etc. Strong troubleshooting skills for MID servers, patterns, credentials, and integration issues. Ability to document solution designs, technical diagrams, and architectural decisions. ServiceNow certifications preferred: ServiceNow CSA Discovery Micro‑certification CSDM / CMDB certifications ServiceNow CIS (ITOM) Preferred Qualifications Experience with Service Graph Connectors, Event Management, or ITOM Visibility Suite. Familiarity with ETL pipelines, normalization engines, and data governance. Experience in large‑scale enterprise environments.
