We are looking for a Food & Beverage Director for the Flamingo Resort hotel restaurant, the Lazeaway Club. Flamingo Lazeaway Club is a vacation within a vacation, allowing travelers and locals to explore the diverse flavors of the Pacific from a California vantage point.
We are looking for someone that is motivated, hospitable and fun to work with. You should be comfortable in a high-volume environment for weekend brunch, dinner service, and our bustling bar scene. Someone who spreads good vibes is a must

Your Role will focus on:
- Design, implement, coordinate and deliver consistent, high quality food and beverage experience.
- Coordinate all F&B marketing, public relations and advertising efforts internally.
- Continually improve and implement menu enhancements and changes consistent with a wine country resort in conjunction with the Culinary Team.
- Assess menu to conform to culinary philosophy and vision.
- Ensure menu selections represent the local bounty, farming community and are sustainably sourced.
- Manage the beverage program by developing local partnerships and using locally sourced products.
- Continually interact with guests to ensure professional, personalized service throughout their meal.
- Understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Recruit, hire, train, schedule, support, coach and counsel employees, to maintain highest possible levels of employee morale and department productivity.
- Ensure that all outlets have regularly scheduled operational meetings, safety trainings and food education.
- Prepare annual budget, according to the specifications set forth by Pyramid Global and Leisure Bird LLC.
- Execute monthly reports tracking covers, revenues and costs.
- Execute departmental inventories and establish purchasing guidelines.
- Control beverage inventory, variety and cost to maintain adequate supply, quality and profitability.
- Continually monitor and control division expenditures and payroll to ensure that operational standards are met while maintaining annual budget.
- Maintain compliance with local safety and health ordinance regulations.
- Represent and market Flamingo Resort in a positive and professional manner as requested and continually promote Flamingo Resort internally and externally by attending special events when requested and building relationships in the community.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas and equipment at all times.
- Various duties and projects as directed by hotel management.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English (speak, read, write) with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding
- Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision
- Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance
- Able to push or pull heavy loads weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Able to move continuously during the shift throughout the workspace to perform essential job functions.
Licensing Requirements:
- Food handling certificate/Serv-Safe certificate
- Responsible Beverage Server Training & ABC certification
