Apartment Maintenance Technician


Are you a hardworking, reliable maintenance technician? You’ll conduct regular inspections, apartment make-ready, routine maintenance, and come up with ideas for preventative measures we can use to maximize the life of our properties and minimize safety risks. Compensation:

$18 - $20 hour

Responsibilities:
  • Keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance and make any repairs
  • Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks
  • Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, walls, and perform necessary repairs
  • Take additional maintenance requests as assigned
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and residents
Qualifications:
  • Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience
  • Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
  • Needs to have availability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests
  • Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
