About This Position:As a laborer or concrete finisher for Craftsmen Resources, you will be involved in multiple construction projects including residential, commercial, and industrial work. Our average work week is Monday – Friday, 07:00-3:30p, although certain projects may require overtime or a variable schedule. As a concrete finisher, you may be tasked with the following:
Place and finish concrete aggregates to spec with appropriate hand or power tools including: floats, trowels, and screeds. Measure, assemble, and install wood or metal forms according to plan. Safely operate core drills, power vibrators, edging tools, wall saws, slab saws; and other trade related tools. Operate demolition tools such as chipping hammers and jack hammers. Operate shotcrete blasting machines when necessary. Apply sealers and varnish when necessary. Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required by jobsite.You may receive other responsibilities from your site supervisor.
