Overview:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in, set up and operation of 3 & 4 axis milling machines, and a range of machining tools. The parts are complex and used by the military, energy and aerospace customers.

The position is for setup and operation of mid-sized and large milling machines. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and be part of a dynamic manufacturing environment.

First and second shift positions available with a generous shift pay differential.

Duties:

- Set up and operate CNC 3&4 axis milling machines and perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize production processes

Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Proficiency in CAD/CAM programming
* Knowledge of tooling and various machining techniques
* 5 years minimum experience running similar equipment
* Good mechanical knowledge and aptitude
* Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and able to multitask
* A team player mentality
* Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
* Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations
* Familiarity with Fanuc controls is a plus
