Job Description

Dixon Fire is looking for a CNC Operator to join our team on 3rd shift in Winchester, VA You will learn to set up and operate computer numerical controlled (CNC) mills and lathes to produce precision metal components and inspect product to drawing specifications. Learn to recognize machining issues and make adjustments as needed.


Primary Responsibilities:



  • Learn how to set up and run CNC machines through participation in training program

Competencies



  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Great attitude and attendance
  • Ability to use hand tools
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to use measuring tools
  • Ability to use basic shop mathematics 
  • Ability to lift and maneuver up to 70 lbs. over the course of a shift
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours
