That's how we're UNSTOPPABLE for our employeesJob Overview: The Sr Software Engineer works with a team of other software engineers, network and systems engineers to design, implement, and deploy software which meet customer\'s requirements, scales easily, removes the limitations of traditional networking solutions, and supports deployment in highly available environments. The Sr Software Engineer actively participates in architecture and design of various software components focused on creating applications that leverage technologies such as virtualization, micro services, AEM (Adobe Experience Manager), TypeScript, Angular and typical front end methodologies. They work on technical assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. They work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative, understand implications of work and make recommendations for solutions. They normally receive little instruction on daily work and only require general instructions on newly introduced assignments. This role offers a 3:2 hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days per week.Job ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement responsive, user-friendly front-end applications using TypeScript, Angular, and modern JavaScript frameworks.Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs with Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js.Ensure front-end solutions adhere to established standards for usability, accessibility, and maintainability.Independently manage Spring Boot applications, including architecture design, documentation, code reviews, and continuous enhancements.Experience developing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components and templates, content management, and integration with Adobe Target.Apply AI/ML techniques to enhance user interfaces, API performance, and enable proactive system monitoring and alerting.Implement and uphold robust security practices, including authentication, authorization, and vulnerability mitigation.Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for application deployment and scalability.Strong debugging, performance analysis, and optimization skills.Contribute to architectural planning, technology assessments, system integrations, and scalability considerations.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop technical solutions and infrastructure strategies.Provide mentorship and promote skill development among junior developers.Technical Engineering ServicesDrives engineering projects by developing software solutions; conducting tests and inspections; preparing reports and calculations. Expected to supervise base and associate level engineers as needed.Understands system protocols, how systems operate and data flows.Aware of current technology benefits.Expected to independently develop a full software stack. Understands the building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required to complete software and automation work.Independent study of current technology is expected.Interact with system engineers to define system requirements and/or necessary requirements for automation.InnovationContributes to designs to implement new ideas which utilize new frameworks to improve an existing or new system/process/service.Reviews existing designs and processes to highlight more efficient ways to complete existing workload more effectively through industry perspectives.Understands the creation of company IPR.Technical LeadershipCollaborates with technical teams and utilizes system expertise to deliver technical solutions.Continuously learns and teaches others existing and new technologies.Contributes to the development of others through mentoring or in-house workshops and learning sessions.Technology StrategyContributes to new and existing technology options that support business goals.Understands current technology that supports business goals.
