EMMG is looking for a creative business development executive with connections in solar/telecom/deregulated energy/healthcare with a passion for solutions-based selling.

Applicants should have a clear understanding of energy deregulation, solar energy, and the telecom industry. Must have the ability to network and develop relationships with campaign coordinators.

Qualified candidates will have the ability to develop and promote programs for the D2D and retail environments on behalf of energy companies, telecom, solar, and healthcare.

Additional skills in business compliance services sales are a huge plus.

Required Knowledge /Skills / Abilities / Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in consultative selling in an enterprise/solution and/or technical sales environment with an emphasis on the deregulated energy market, medical insurance, and/or solar industries.


- Proven new business development, recruiting experience with demonstrable, consistent on/over quota achievement


- Has a strong knowledge of the US deregulated energy market, medical insurance, and/or solar industries; direct experience in these markets is preferred


- Initiative-driven professional with a strong aptitude for fostering and developing professional relationships


- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills


- Knowledge of learning management systems


- Proficiency in MS Office applications

Job Duties / Responsibilities / Essential Functions:

- Meeting and exceeding sales quotas for designated market segments

- Defining and executing year-round sales plans


- Ensuring that prospecting is managed as part of a structured, targeted, and measurable process resulting in new prospects being added to the pipeline on a consistent basis


- Being able to identify, qualify, manage, and onboard individual business owners/teams (IBO’s) on short timelines, and move the prospect along in the sales funnel


- Keeping abreast of competition, competitive issues, and products


- Making and delivering solution-oriented presentations as well as product demonstrations as needed

- Ability to determine the more effective program to obtain and to offer IBO’s

- Negotiating with current/new supply companies
