The Real Estate Analyst will underwrite and analyze student housing investment opportunities while supporting the asset management team to enhance portfolio performance. Key responsibilities include building financial models, analyzing projections and returns, conducting market research, performing due diligence, and producing monthly asset management reports.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Support acquisitions and asset management in underwriting, financial analysis, and reporting.

Analyze acquisition opportunities through financial modeling and valuation.

Create presentations and investment memos outlining key transaction details and analyses.

Assist in the due diligence process, managing third-party consultants, and interpreting reports.

Conduct market research on student housing demand, supply, and sales comparables.

Track and catalog acquisition and investment opportunities.

Helped produce monthly and quarterly reports on budgets and portfolio performance.

Complete asset management projects as needed to support strategic initiatives.

Travel periodically for asset and market tours.


Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:


Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

1-3 years of experience in commercial real estate investment or financial analysis.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
