Job DescriptionMDG is hiring We are seeking an experienced Account Director to join the team. We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented account director with 8-10 years of ad agency account management experience. We're seeking a professional multi-tasker, who works well under pressure and within tight deadlines, with traditional and digital advertising experienceThe right candidate:will handle several accounts and assist account teams in developing the marketing insights that will drive our clients' integrated marketing strategies and campaigns. Including building strong relationships with vendors, agency colleagues, and clients, setting and managing expectations and driving resultsis expected to become intimately familiar with all agency processes and departments. There will be an opportunity to contribute to internal initiatives and development of tools to maximize workflow and support growthyou will be an integral part of business development processes and handle incoming leads with the executive team and other directors. You will be expected to help build presentations, assist in RFP response, and present to prospective clients both with the team and independentlyWhat you'll do:Manage a dedicated account team who are responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the assigned client(s) including: campaign planning and development, daily project deliverables, and results reportingResponsible for the entire process and accountable for deliverables released to the client and deployed in the market.Understand business at a granular level and be able to provide recommendations (weekly, monthly) on how to change and adapt to business needsOversee strategic initiatives, manages internal resources, and schedules across all campaigns and client deliverablesCoordinate with creative, social media, media, and development teamsConsult with discipline leads and collaborate internally to build the best solutions for individual campaignsKeep accurate records of campaigns and campaign performance as well as track against project scopeWork with VP, Client Success to plan growth of each assigned clientAssist with onboarding, training, and mentoring new and existing team members as neededHelp handle day-to-day escalations for all assigned clientsManages quarterly business review, and other additional items that may include but not limited to the following; annual planning, program evaluations, enhancement recommendationsRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Advertising, Marketing or related field required10+ years' ad agency experience managing and executing multi-channel digital projectsExperience in digital, social, traditional, media is requiredUnderstanding of general advertising principles and account service client management protocolManages multiple tasks and tight deadlines with confidence and easeTactful and diplomatic communication skills; internal, external, formal and informal written, and verbalAbility to communicate complex information in easy-to-understand termsSkilled in presenting to high level clientsAble to actively build and maintain good working relationships with clients and colleaguesMust be willing to go above and beyond to ensure client's issues and requests are sufficiently resolvedOrganized and pays attention to every detailProactive problem solvingHospitality, healthcare, and retail experience a plusYou must have a valid driver's license and have your own reliable transportation to attend client meetings and eventsBenefitsWe offer competitive healthcare, dental, and vision plans along with several voluntary benefit extras.
