**Position Summary:**

You will be responsible for managing the dining service department of the community.

**Responsibilities:**

* Responsible for general kitchen management including food ordering, receiving and inventory, menu planning, budgeting, and scheduling

* Food preparation and plating

* Maintains food and safety regulations, ensuring that all work/storage areas are sanitary

* Manages resident food preferences by capturing feedback from various residents and stakeholders.

* Supervises and trains dining service staff to establish a personal connection with residents and maintain Enlivants hospitality standards

* Upholds Enlivants mission, vision, and values

* Exhibits good time management and organizational skills

* Possess the ability to handle complex issues

* Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills

* Additional duties as assigned

**Qualifications:**

Required Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

* Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a dining role

* ServSafe Managers Certificate (obtain within 90 days of employment)

* Must work a full shift, come to work on time, and work overtime as needed

* The ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in a supervisory position within dining services

* Restaurant, kitchen management, food service or banquet experience helpful

* Three to four years of dining and/or hospitality experience

* A minimum of one year of culinary experience in senior living or skilled nursing facility preferred. Proven culinary skills based on experience

* Supervisory experience a plus

* Exemplify and be an influential team player

* Possess time management and organizational skills
