Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Italian cuisine, a creative flair, and a dedication to culinary excellence. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the quality of our food, mentoring staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook dishes with precision and care. Lead, train, and supervise line cooks and kitchen staff, ensuring high standards are met. Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef on menu development and specials. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and presented beautifully. Help manage inventory, order supplies, and reduce kitchen waste. Uphold all health and safety regulations.Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a line cook in a busy kitchen, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Knowledge of Italian cooking techniques and ingredients. Leadership and communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
