Network/Computer Systems Developer Manager, Senior Location: Eglin AFB, Florida HX5 is an award-winning provider of engineering, research and development, and technical services to clients such as NASA and the Department of Defense. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide support and assistance in the development and management of acquisition program‑related network systems. Adhere to all documentation requirements to certify unclassified, classified, and/or SAP network systems as required. Provide continuous client support and integrate IM support staff throughout customer organizations. Assist with development, coordination, and implementation of short‑ and long‑term strategies that plan for the reliable and secure operation, evolution, and growth of the automation hardware and software infrastructure as well as life‑cycle management of all system resources. Meet and work with other Government, military, and civilian agencies (including other Government contractors) for project planning and facilitation of IM requirements. The contractor does not represent the Government at such meetings. Provide data management services including optical scanning, file indexing and archiving, backup, and document destruction. Perform scanning tasks for all program documents, including routine day‑to‑day operation of NT‑based scanning and retrieval systems. Prepare documents for input (e.g., removal of bindings, staples), scan documents, barcode or manually enter data for indexing, perform quality control, reassemble documents, return them to the owner or storage, and shred close‑out documents when necessary. Ensure periodic preventive maintenance of the scanning system. Assist with maintenance of functional and reliable telecommunication services for customer programs, including phone (including classified Secure Telephone Unit/Secure Telephone Equipment/Voice over IP STU III/STE/Vipers/VoIP), fax, voicemail, viewmail/viewfax, VTC and desktop VTC, and overhead projection services. Assist by researching, testing, evaluating, and implementing new technology to fulfill current and future needs of programs supported. Education and Experience All experience and education combinations must have a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Sec+, CySA+, CCNA‑Security). BS degree and fifteen (15) years of professional experience; OR BS degree, thirteen (13) years of professional experience, and IAT Level III certification (e.g., CASP+, CISSP); OR MS degree, thirteen (13) years of professional experience; OR MS degree, eleven (11) years of professional experience, and IAT Level III certification (e.g., CASP+, CISSP). Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Full‑time position requiring 40 hours per week with a flexible schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours. Other Position Requirements Proof of U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency is required. Must complete a U.S. government background investigation. Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance by date of hire.
