What’s a typical day as a Dangerous Goods Coordinator? You’ll be:
• Implementing company policies to ensure compliance with local, regional, and international regulations regarding Dangerous Goods.
• Guaranteeing adherence to regulations set forth by the DOT, IATA DGR, IMDG code, and ICAO for packing, labeling, and marking of all DG shipments.
• Accurately completing and maintaining Dangerous Goods Shippers Declarations in line with U.S., international, and carrier regulations.
• Working in close coordination with the EHS coordinator to manage the proper storage and handling of dangerous goods.
• Collaborating with the warehouse system to implement dangerous goods protocols.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a High School Diploma.
• Have experience working with Dangerous Goods.
• Have experience working in a Distribution Environment with knowledge of State and Federal regulations.
• Have experience with shipping Lithium-ion Batteries.
• Are proficient in Excel, Adobe, and Outlook.
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Can manage a high volume of email correspondence and shipment processing daily.
• Have a good work ethic and efficiency.
• Possess excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Can lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods of time.
