Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair automotive issues efficiently and accurately.
Performing comprehensive maintenance and repair services to components such as transmissions, wheel bearings, water pumps, etc.
Conducting state-mandated vehicle emission and safety inspections in adherence to all relevant local and state regulations.
Collaborating within a team to promptly and efficiently troubleshoot guest concerns.
Conducting thorough and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
Ensuring accuracy and completeness in all preventive maintenance reports.
Adhering to federal, state, and local regulations governing service operations, including protocols for hazardous waste disposal and OSHA standards.
Supporting housekeeping duties as directed by management.
Maintaining close communication with the service department to accurately assess and communicate vehicle issues to guests.
Upholding and promoting our rigorous standards for safety, cleanliness, and organization.
Qualifications
5-10+ years prior experience as an Automotive Mechanic/Technician demonstrating strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
Excellent problem solving and diagnostic skills
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment to meet or exceed hourly goals
Physical Requirements
Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds
Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-tools
Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
Drive manual transmission vehicles
Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
Efficiently navigate a computer
