Midas Mission Viejo 1260 is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of automotive maintenance services, including routine vehicle maintenance, oil changes, and repairs.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and visual safety inspections
- Diagnose and repair complex automotive issues, including brake and transmission problems
- Replace air filters, cabin filters, and fuel filters as needed
- Perform transmission, power steering, and coolant flushes
- Mount, balance, and rotate tires
- Align wheels and repair suspension systems
- Replace brake pads, rotors, calipers, and brake hoses
- Repair or replace water pumps, thermostats, radiators, belts, and hoses
- Perform clutch and valve jobs
- Replace timing belts, serpentine belts, and tensioners
- Diagnose and repair computer-related issues
- Repair or replace exhaust systems and weld as needed
- Service and replace air conditioning compressors and condensers
- Test and replace batteries, starters, and alternators
- Replace bulbs and maintain shop areas
- ASE certification preferred
- Entry-level technicians must have prior knowledge of automotive basics
- Knowledge of shop equipment and tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
