Youth Wellness Program Manager

Lili’uokalani Center (LC):Informed by a deep understanding of the adolescent experience and grounded in Hawaiian culture, the new LC will provide Hawaiian youth with opportunities to connect to peers and mentors, receive supportive services, and discover pathways to passion, purpose, and prosperity. LC will be LT’s signature youth development hub for culture, creativity, technology, and play, and will serve as a resource center where youth can connect to vital supports and a vibrant community. LC will be a safe space located in urban Honolulu where youth are inspired to pursue their dreams, including exploring pathways in the arts, sports, technology, and entrepreneurship while receiving wraparound support to help them reach their goals and become thriving adults. A primary function of LC will be to provide a space for young people to play, to learn, to find connection and inspiration, and to experience joy. Currently under construction, LC is set to open in Spring of 2025. Job PurposeThe Youth Wellness Program Manager oversees culturally integrated wellness programming, clinic operations, and the management of clinical resources and referral processes at Lili1 Center. In a leadership role, they manage mobile clinic providers and collaborate with the ʻŌlino Pathways Arts & Culture, Culinary, and Life Readiness teams. This position requires expertise in clinical practices, systems navigation, cultural sensitivity, and team leadership to ensure high-quality, holistic wellness services. Provides leadership for the development and implementation of wellness programming and services at Lili1 CenterWork collaboratively to develop appropriate, relevant wellness programs that integrate with other disciplines, highlight youth voices, and allow for youth co-facilitationDesign and implement creative strategies for engaging youth in wellness programmingRecruit, train, supervise, and evaluate a wellness teamImplement evidence-informed and culturally relevant interventionsThrough intentional programmatic development, design, and implementation, cultivate a sense of community, belonging, and social/emotional support for kamaliProvide resources and support to LC staff to promote well-being and effective service deliveryIntegrate innovative, evidence-based approaches in holistic wellness to enhance programs and service offeringsOversee clinic operations, coordinate mobile providers, and manage referral processes to improve service accessSupport system navigation for youth and families, ensuring connection to appropriate clinical and community resources Other Duties Participate in and lead, as appropriate, program planning, budget development, and evaluationProvide transportation for organization related business, such as driving staff, and beneficiaries to assigned destinationsParticipate in continuing education and training opportunities for professional developmentAs appropriate, serve as a thought leader both internally and externallyContribute to the Trust\'s success by accepting new assignments, helping team members, learning new skills and striving to improve team and organization resultsFoster partnerships and maintain effective communication with community stakeholders to enhance service delivery and accessibility for kamali1Manage budgetary allocations related to wellness services and program activities, ensuring fiscal responsibility and resource optimizationOversee administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and documentation to maintain efficient operations Qualifications Master\'s degree in counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, or a related field; licensure as a clinical therapist (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, etc.) preferredDeep understanding of Native Hawaiian culture, values, and history, with the ability to integrate these into wellness programming, fostering connection and holistic developmentKnowledge of evidence-informed interventions and therapeutic modalities relevant to holistic wellnessStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholdersCollaboration: Ability to interact effectively with youth, community partners, and multi-disciplinary teams. Knowledge of community resources and servicesEthical Practice: Model the highest level of ethical behavior, integrity, and social responsibility Uphold and embody all LT valuesCommunication: Clearly convey and receive information and ideas. While travel may not always be a need, the ability to travel when required remains a crucial aspect of this position.
