As a Data and Telemetry Software Engineer, you will build the infrastructure to capture performance data across client and cloud. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Learn more about benefits at Google.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable telemetry infrastructure and client‑side instrumentation using C++ to capture product health and performance metrics.Collaborate with engineering peers, product managers, and user researchers through design and code reviews to ensure data accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to style guidelines.Build and optimize data visualization dashboards and pipelines that provide actionable insights into system reliability, latency, and user experience.Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing telemetry data to pinpoint sources of instability across hardware, network, or service operations.Contribute to documentation regarding data schemas and instrumentation guides, adapting content based on product updates to enable self‑service insights for the wider team.Google is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
