As part of the Beam team, you will collaborate across functions in a fast‑paced, product‑oriented environment and have a significant impact on the future of communications.ResponsibilitiesAct as lead software architect and technical leader across the organization.Drive cross‑team technical excellence, strategic planning and advocacy for infrastructure investments.Foster culture of innovation, technical excellence, and accountability.Lead the technical leadership organization as the team's most executive technical leader.Collaborate with product, program, and engineering managers to set product direction.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.8 years of software development experience.5 years of design, architecture, and software product launch experience.Experience with streaming media, such as live‑streamed video.Preferred: Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science.5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.3 years in complex, matrixed organization involving cross‑functional projects.Experience bringing new product or significant feature‑set to market.Experience with large‑scale fleet management, video conferencing, hardware products, factory, cloud architecture, real‑time processing, OS platforms.Location and Fair ChanceEligibility for all open positions is evaluated under the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance and the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
