About The Role Semgrep is one of the fastest growing companies in the code‑security space. As a Sales Director on the Mid‑Market team, you will build and lead a high‑performing team, partner closely with the executive team, and create new revenue streams by selling to Digital Native organizations. You will collaborate with Business Development, Sales Operations, Sales Engineering, Product, and Marketing to expand Semgrep usage across current customers and drive momentum in the digital‑native market. You will hire, coach, and maintain a top‑tier sales team, manage forecasts, and make decisions with a bias toward action. Job Responsibilities Demand high performance and hire, train, and retain exceptional talent. Provide high‑precision forecasts and consistently meet or beat targets. Own the business and become an expert on the Semgrep platform, competition, industry, and customers. Act with urgency, focus on critical priorities, and make fast decisions. Cultivate an environment of excellence, maintain high‑quality pipeline, and lead the team to generate consistent new pipeline. Qualifications College degree. 3‑5 years in tech sales management at a reputable company. Track record of hiring, retaining, and coaching top talent AEs. Repeated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Excellent written communication and presentation skills. Quantifiable success in selling new products and early‑access solutions. Knowledge of MEDDICC, Sandler, Challenger, or other sales methodologies. Strong consensus‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders. Commitment to Semgrep values. Compensation Compensation range: $300,000 OTE uncapped.
