Office Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Office Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and multitasking skills, and will thrive in a fast-paced office environment. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth office operations, assisting with a variety of administrative tasks, and providing support to our staff and management. You will be responsible for maintaining a positive office atmosphere, managing communication, and supporting the organization in its day-to-day activities
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings for staff
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Maintain filing systems and electronic records management
- Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Assist with onboarding and training new employees when necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications are a plus
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with office equipment and procedures
