Norse Group are a specialist care catering provider across Norfolk and Suffolk, focussed on delivering a service that is based around providing quality and nutrition to residents. We operate multiple on-site and mobile teams throughout the regions to ensure we can continue to deliver a great service.

We are recruiting for a passionate, and hardworking professionals to join our team as a Mobile Catering Assistants working 30 hours per week covering Care Homes throughout Norfolk, this will include travelling to various locations, including Norwich, Dereham and Kings Lynn so a full driving licence and your own vehicle is essential to meet the criteria of the role. Mileage and Travel are paid.

Working as a Mobile Catering Assistant within our Care Homes provides you with a homely environment where you can develop your knowledge and skills supported by the rest of the team and senior management to build a career in the industry.

**Main Responsibilities:**

* Prepare, cook and serve meals from our fantastic, locally sourced menu.

* Help to maintain the high standards of customer service we set ourselves.

* Keep the kitchen and services areas clean, tidy and hygienic and all times.

* Help to purchase and source sundries, fresh produce and cleaning supplies when necessary.

This position is available on a permanent basis working 38 hours per week. These hours will be booked on a flexible rota that will mean you will work 5 days out of any 7, including some weekends.

**Our Successful Candidate:**

Ideally you will have previous experience within a catering environment however this is not essential as full training can be provided.

It is vital that our successful candidate demonstrates;

* Capability of working to your own initiative as an individual and as part of a team

* Great communication skills and proactive approach to work

* A full driving licence due to travel requirements of the role
