Role Description We’re seeking a Founding Account Executive to join one of our fast-growing AI-powered SaaS clients in the eCommerce technology space. This is an early-stage, high-impact sales role where you’ll own the entire sales cycle — from prospecting and outreach to closing and onboarding. As the first AE on the team, you’ll help define sales strategy, implement scalable processes, and build a revenue engine from the ground up. You’ll be working closely with the founding team to refine go-to-market motions and create repeatable systems for growth. If you’ve helped take an early-stage startup from launch to scale and are looking for your next challenge in the AI x eCommerce ecosystem, this role is for you. Job Responsibilities Own the full sales cycle: outbound prospecting, qualifying leads, demos, closing, and onboarding. Build and manage pipeline through outbound, inbound, partnerships, and events. Leverage AI tools to optimize outreach, sequencing, and lead generation. Collaborate with founders and leadership to tighten feedback loops between product, growth, and customer success. Develop the foundation for future sales processes, playbooks, and team structure. Drive revenue while maintaining strong relationships with business owners and eCommerce decision-makers. Qualifications We’re looking for a strategic closer who thrives in fast-moving, early-stage environments: 3–5 years of full-cycle sales experience at an early or growth-stage B2B SaaS or eCommerce startup. Proven ability to exceed quotas and close deals in the $5K–$25K+ range. Strong understanding of digital commerce, Shopify, or social commerce ecosystems (TikTok Shop, Instagram Shopping, Amazon, etc.). Experience building and managing relationships with brand founders and marketing leaders. Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and AI-driven sales automation tools. Builder’s mindset – comfortable creating systems, refining GTM processes, and iterating quickly. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Excited to work in a collaborative, high-growth environment. Have experience with affiliate, influencer, or creator marketing. Bring an existing network of eCommerce or SaaS contacts.
