Our candidate of choice will be responsible for overseeing production operations and bring strong leadership skills, extensive CNC programming knowledge, and experience managing a team of CNC operators. Prior experience with valve manufacturing a big plus
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
CNC Programming: Proficient in CNC programming and operation, with a deep understanding of 4 and 5 axis machines.
Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of 9 CNC Operators to achieve production goals and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
Production Management: Manage the daily production schedule, ensuring on-time delivery of products while maintaining optimal levels of inventory.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Quality Assurance: Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process, implementing measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment for all employees, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on production metrics, including productivity, downtime, and quality performance, and present findings to senior management.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Proficiency in CNC programming and operation, specifically with 4 and 5 axis machines.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen) is preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
