Growth-mode company is looking for an Accounting Manager to support general accounting & project-based work related to recent acquisitions.
A highly-visible role, the Accounting Manager will be the "right-hand" to the Controller, will own all GL accounting, month-end close, business partnering within the organization to support budgeting & forecasting efforts and lead an upcoming system implementation.
This role is a stand-alone manager to start, but will grow to hire and develop a team. Candidates who are currently Senior Accountants, looking for the next growth-step in their career are encouraged to apply.
Reporting to a strong leader, the Controller loves to mentor, develop and support their team. The ideal candidate is a comfortable in a fast-growing environment, and a "wear-many-hats" role.
The team works a hybrid schedule with 1-2 days per week in office in Worcester. Strong base + bonus up to 20%, as well as excellent benefits.
Requirements:
- BS, Accounting / Finance or related
- CPA or Masters preferred but not required
- public accounting experience is a plus
- hands-on corporate accounting experience, including month-end close, GAAP Accounting, internal controls knowledge, operational accounting, etc.
- Strong systems skills including SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP - Advanced Excel is a plus
- collaborative work style, individual who thrives with project-based work, acquisition integration experience is a plus
