This employee will help out with evenings and Saturday coverage full-time. The employee will check Registration and Urgent care in-basket pool messages.

Collect, scan, and obtain signatures on all patient compliance-related documents. Give out all requirement forms for well child visit. Outreach person that "no show, and educate patients, and community members of the availability of the Provider. Help out on special projects such as PCP special project, and reschedule appointment. Also, Answering the C-Registration phone lines, scheduling appointments, and registering new & established patients, and collects co-payment
  • Perform insurance pre-verification tasks and document outcomes in patient database system to facilitate efficient check-in on day of appointment; identify and outreach patients whose insurance coverage has lapsed or is assigned to a non-healthy center PCP
  • Outreach patients with a history of DNKAs following protocols with the goal of increased completed patient visits with providers
  • Assist with escalated patient issues, grievances and incidents; investigate and problem solve to adequately intervene and resolve issues and make suggestions/recommendations for improvements in patent experience and operational workflows
  • Follow all health center policies and procedures on patient confidentiality/HIPAA and all health center-wide guidelines
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage high volume patient flow situations and use appropriate judgement to request assistance as needed
  • Demonstrated leadership and initiative
  • Advanced problem solving skills and judgment
  • Team building: facilitate and encourage all staff to work together effectively as a team as well as independently
  • Ability to effectively train new staff and provide input to all Patient services staff, such as identifying areas for improvement
  • Ability to work with persons with disabilities and seniors
  • Ability to multi task on two computer systems as the same time
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication/documentation skills
