The Housekeeper executes and oversees all housekeeping operations across the entire campus. They are responsible for maintaining healthy, clean, and sanitized housing/restroom facilities for campers, staff, and guests. The Housekeeper is responsible for all cleaning duties, conducting routine audits, and maintaining adequate inventory levels of all supplies and equipment.

Job Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBLITIES:
  • Lead by example to guests and co-workers, creating positive and inspiring environment
  • Ensure housekeeping services are executed to the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and guest experience
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
  • Identify and report preventative, or other, maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms
  • Implement high quality cleaning and sanitation across the entire Woodward campus
  • Assist in maintaining Woodward safety logs, operational sheets, schedules, and incident logs
  • Perform weekly inventories and update master inventory
  • Other duties as assigned
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS:
  • Experience in housekeeping, hotel, or cleaning operations preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to collaborate well across functions and departments, to work as part of a team
  • Health and Safety Certifications
BASIC SCHEDULE/REQUIREMENTS:
  • As a requirement of this position, pre-hire criminal history clearances are collected from the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH) system, child abuse clearances are obtained through the Department of Public Welfare, and federal history is taken through FBI fingerprint screening.
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 25lbs.
  • Must be comfortable working in an outdoor all-season environment.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, evenings year-round
  • Provide work related references upon request
