OverviewThrive Pet Healthcare is hiring a Vice President of Pricing Strategy & Implementation to lead pricing strategy and execution across our hospitals.ResponsibilitiesManage all facets (strategy, code standardization and maintenance, implementation processes, systems, reporting) surrounding the pricing of services and products across our hospitalsLead the pricing process from start to finishMaximize price and margin opportunities within and across categoriesDevelop and manage KPIs to measure effectiveness and outcomes of pricing actionsPartner with executive-level operations, sourcing/procurement, medical leadership, IT, and finance to deliver financial outcomes and operational objectivesForecast profitability based on pricing and marketing strategies, industry trends, and competitionDevelop pricing expertise with current systems and develop tools to enhance execution of pricing strategies by developing surrounding processes, owners, timelines, and reportingManage pricing vis-a-vis competitors and regional competitive situations by gathering and integrating market and competitive insights into pricing and other activitiesSupport pricing system enhancements with the IT departmentDevelop, implement and follow up with hospitals on pricing rules through pricing systemsDevelop and manage a price audit process to ensure compliance, flow through and that competitive data is actionableData feedsSecondary data sourcesReportingDevelop and lead a team of veterinary pricing experts and implementation specialistsRequirementsDemonstrated ability to develop veterinary pricing strategies and follow through to operational executionDeep strategic pricing expertise within service businessesVeterinary hospital operational expertise a plusStrong analytical, statistical, critical thinking, and communication skillsAbility to lead pricing analysis and implementation teams and critically pressure their findingsDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functionally and influence diverse stakeholder groups with competing prioritiesEffective communication and change management skillsExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailAn innate sense of urgency and results orientationWorking knowledge of veterinary practice management software, service and product pricing best practices, and the relationship between pricing systems and operational effectiveness/efficiencyAdditional InformationSeniority level: ExecutiveEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Business Development and SalesIndustries: Hospitals and Health CareApply today to be considered for this role at Thrive Pet Healthcare. #J-18808-Ljbffr
