The City of Creve Coeur seeks a part-time Court Clerk to perform various data entry and clerical duties of the court. This position works closely with court staff processing municipal case information on a daily basis. Primarily, this position will file and retrieve court documents, enter information into court software databases, attend court sessions, and perform other general clerical duties. This position often assists court staff with phone lines and payments at the Violations Bureau. Qualified candidates must have good written and verbal communication skills, as well as basic math, computer, and clerical skills with the ability to type at least 45 words per minute. Must work well with the public and possess excellent customer service skills. Experience working in a court office or legal setting is preferred. Must be able to work at least twenty (20) hours per week. Work schedule may be flexible and will include days and attendance at morning and afternoon court sessions.
