On-Site Service SpecialistOconomowoc WI 12+Month Contract Job Description: This associate will essentially be a hand man. Your daily tasks will change often. They may need you to hang up a white board one day and then fix a hole in a wall the next. The associate needs to be aware and ready for what each day brings. Someone who can work very closely with a client or independently, learn quickly. This type of candidate would be successful in this role. They will not be alone onsite, there is a team onsite (front desk and help). The associate will be required to drive a forklift. If the associate is not already certified training will be offered. No driving is required onsite besides Forklift. The associate will be required to lift 50+ lbs from time to time. There will not a whole lot of long intervals or standing or walking. Interviews will be held first on teams and a second round in person if possible. Responsible for assisting in the daily management of assigned facility. The Corporate Facility Services Specialist will perform weekly inspections of building, minor maintenance, move furniture and boxes, conference room presentation set Client. The Specialist must be customer service driven, with a keen eye for detail Job Duties and Responsibilities Shipping and Receiving Services Services Description Client will provide trained personnel to service Facilities. Load and unload delivery trucks (First priority of the position) Organize the shipping and receiving dock area. Work with Logistics to schedule trucks and BOLS. Prepare pallets/skids with proper strapping/wrapping and weighing for shipment. Maintain shipping documents by scanning BOL/packing slip to receiver and saving in folder. Notify receiver(s) of inbound load(s) and provide paperwork received. Assist administration or any other team when needed for various tasks. Services Description (additional - only for permanent on-site facilities personnel Maintain warehouse inventory with incoming/outgoing pallets through the Menasha website. Maintain and notify Logistics when regrind scrap is ready to be picked up. Maintain the electronic scrap skid(s) and notify Facilities Manager when it is ready to be picked up. Train and provide guidance on scope of work, policies, and procedures to backup FSRs. Building Maintenance as assigned by Facilities Manager/ Service Ticket. Completion of service tickets as assigned by due dates. Cubical/office reconfigurations that are minor. If heavy call-in moving experts' Light bulb, ceiling tile and carpet repairs/changes. Assemble new chairs and oil hydraulics of chairs. Furniture set up for monthly luncheons, trainings and leadership meeting. Installation of various office equipment (shelfing, tables, desks). Mount pictures, plaques and white boards. Minor repairs which do not require trade certifications (repair of door handle, repair of partition wall, minor patching of dry wall, minor painting). Raise and lower the American flag outside. Shovel and salt entryways in winter when needed. Clean out the sewer drain outside the dock when needed. Take Konica meter reads monthly (No repairs or toner exchanges, this is to be done by Konica service tech). Maintain/refill soda, coffee and tea supply in the lunchroom and break areas in various departments. Assist administration or any other team when needed for various tasks. Other duties as assigned by Facilities Manager. Inventory or Stock. Monitor products weekly. Cafeteria utensils (forks, spoons, knives, bowls, plates). Paper supplies (paper towels, napkins, cups). Stretch wrap/heavy duty bundle wrap used in shipping. Light bulbs (advise Facilities Manager when low). Printer/copier paper. Turn in inventory to Administrative Assistant. Lunchroom soda, coffee, and tea supply. Lunchroom coffee extras. (Creamer, sugar, straws.) Report details to Facilities Manager for reorder when it applies. Safety inspections of cubicles throughout the building and the loading dock monthly. Take pictures and report anything that may be unsafe to Facilities Manager. Check fire extinguisher expiration dates monthly. Inspect AEDs monthly. Inspect fork truck daily. Inspect emergency lights weekly. Inspect pallet plastic banding and crimps weekly. Refill copy paper in printers throughout the building every Tuesday QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications) High School Diploma or equivalent is required Valid Drivers' License required Ability to walk, stand, kneel, and carry objects up to 50 lbs KNOWLEDGE, Skills and Abilities Excellent customer service skills. Ability to be flexible and to be a team-member is a must. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal communication and instructions. Ability to work independently on multiple projects involving different customer groups. Ability to work as a team member in balancing workloads and pending tasks that need to be completed within a given timeline. PC Literate Basic office skills, creating reports, filling out forms, tracking invoices/work orders etc Working Conditions, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS Office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, normal range of temperature and noise levels Work assignments vary and may include work in warehouses (forklift) or outside work. Physical effort is required. Work requires walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically weigh up to 50lbs. Position involves performing operations in copying, document imaging, mail management, and related tasks. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and customer service abilities. This position reports to the Site Manager, Site Supervisor, or Assistant Site Manager. Responsibilities Operate high-volume copy and document imaging systems. Use related software to handle document images and files. Maintain and troubleshoot convenience copiers. Distribute office supplies, mail, and completed jobs. Perform basic maintenance and upkeep of equipment and work areas. Operate various office machines, bindery, and shipping tools. Maintain records, logs, and inventory. Calculate charges and coordinate service calls. Deliver materials between locations and perform light maintenance tasks. Support building operations such as meeting room setups or light cleaning. Requirements High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of relevant experience. Basic PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong organizational and customer service skills. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (e.g., lifting up to 55 lbs., pushing equipment). Familiarity with office equipment and technical tools. Valid driver's license and auto insurance (if required). Ability to work in an office environment and manage diversified tasks.
