Position Overview:

We are seeking a Sr. Facilities Operations Specialist to join our Client Services team. You will act as a general handyman and is responsible for assisting in the daily operations and maintenance of assigned facilities. This role requires adaptability, as daily tasks vary and may include everything from mounting whiteboards to repairing drywall. The ideal candidate is proactive, a quick learner, and capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team. Forklift operation is required, with training and certification provided if necessary.
The shift is from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Mondays to Fridays. Pay is $19/hr. They pay weekly every Fridays. Parking is free.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Facilities Maintenance and Repair:
Perform routine inspections of the building and address minor maintenance issues (e.g., drywall patching, painting, fixing door handles, replacing ceiling tiles).
Install and assemble office furniture, equipment, and fixtures (e.g., chairs, whiteboards, shelving, pictures).
Ensure conference rooms are set up for presentations and events.
Shovel and salt entryways during winter, as needed.
Clean sewer drains and monitor outside dock areas.
2. Shipping and Receiving:
Load and unload delivery trucks.
Organize the dock area and prepare shipments, including palletizing, wrapping, and labeling.
Coordinate with logistics to schedule pickups and maintain shipping records.
Scan and save shipping documents (e.g., BOLs, packing slips) and notify receivers of incoming shipments.
3. Inventory and Supplies Management:
Monitor and restock cafeteria, office, and warehouse supplies (e.g., paper, light bulbs, coffee, utensils).
Maintain records of inventory levels and notify the Facilities Manager of reorder needs.
Track and manage electronic and regrind scrap inventory.
4. Forklift Operation:
Operate a forklift for material handling within the facility.
Conduct daily inspections of the forklift to ensure safety and functionality.
5. Safety and Compliance Inspections:
Perform monthly safety checks of cubicles, emergency lights, fire extinguishers, and AEDs.
Identify and report potential safety hazards to the Facilities Manager.
6. General Office Support:
Assist with file organization, reporting, and data entry as needed.
Provide support to administrative teams or other departments as required.
Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1-2 years of related experience in facilities management, maintenance, or a similar field preferred.
Valid driver’s license (required for forklift certification).
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50-55 lbs.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Strong customer service orientation.
Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office tools.
Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Office, warehouse, and outdoor environments with adequate lighting and ventilation.
Tasks may require standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting for extended periods.
Some outdoor work is required during adverse weather conditions.
