Summary:
Enru Logistics and Postal Optimization is looking for an experienced sales professional with proven Agent sales success to play a pivotal role in driving growth and supporting Enru’s outside agency partner network. In this role, you will focus on managing relationships and performance with Enru’s partner agencies, ensuring that our network of agency reps aligns with Enru’s goals, growth objectives, and customer needs. As an Account Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in Enru’s strategic growth, managing agent partner relationships and driving new business.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in agent sales, experience in the 3PL and transportation industry, and a demonstrated ability to manage complex opportunities from the strategy formulation stage through closure and implementation. Strong industry connections in logistics and supply chain are essential, enabling you to help Enru grow its existing business while identifying and cultivating new opportunities. Responsibilities:
Expand Agency Sales Opportunities: Identify high-value prospects and market segments to drive agent-led sales growth, focusing on logistics and 3PL solutions.
Build Agent Relationships: Serve as the key liaison for partner agencies, fostering trust, collaboration, and long-term success.
Support Agency Performance: Provide resources, guidance, and best practices to help agents exceed sales targets and drive consistent revenue growth.
Develop Strategic Sales Plans: Collaborate with agents to align sales strategies with Enru’s objectives and target client pain points.
Manage New Business Development: Partner with agency reps to identify opportunities, pitch solutions, and close deals that meet client needs.
Onboard and Train Agents: Lead onboarding for new agency partners, ensuring a seamless introduction to Enru’s services, systems, and performance expectations.
Drive Sales Results: Track, analyze, and report agent performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing targeted strategies for growth.
Provide Client Support: Oversee agency-led customer relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, issue resolution, and consistent service delivery.
Facilitate Contract Negotiations: Support agents in balancing customer expectations with Enru’s goals to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
Collaborate Internally: Partner with Enru’s operations, customer service, and finance teams to align agent sales efforts and deliver seamless customer solutions.
Monitor Sales Pipelines: Maintain accurate CRM records of agent sales activities, revenue progress, and pipeline opportunities.
Align with Marketing Efforts: Work with marketing teams to support agent-driven lead generation and promote Enru’s solutions across key markets.
Promote Brand Awareness: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events to build relationships and generate leads.
Analyze and Refine Strategies: Leverage data to evaluate agency performance, identify trends, and adjust tactics for continuous growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as: Business Administration, Logistics/Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Sales or Communications
- 3-5+ years of successful experience in Agent sales, preferably in the logistics, transportation, or 3PL industry.
- In-depth knowledge of freight brokerage, supply chain operations, and transportation management
- Experience managing key accounts and building long-term client relationships.
- Background in consultative selling and tailoring solutions to meet client needs.
- Strong ability to generate leads, close deals, and meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to identify and act on growth opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate value propositions effectively.
- Strong presentation skills, including the ability to conduct product or service demonstrations.
- Skilled at negotiating contracts and addressing customer objections to achieve win-win outcomes.
- Analytical mindset to evaluate customer pain points and design tailored logistics solutions.
- Relationship-building capabilities to foster trust and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Collaboration skills to work seamlessly with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for managing leads and customer data.
- Familiarity with logistics technology, including transportation management systems (TMS) and route optimization tools.
- Understanding of the logistics and 3PL market, including supply chain challenges, cost drivers, and USPS/transportation regulations.
- Awareness of customer segments, competitor offerings, and market dynamics.
- Deep understanding of pricing models, margins, and revenue management in logistics.
- Driven to achieve measurable outcomes and meet sales goals.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, competitive environment with evolving priorities.
- Proactive in managing workload and pursuing new opportunities.
- Able to handle rejection and maintain focus on long-term success.
