Position Summary:

Electrical Engineer I will assist with the design, development, and inspecting of electrical equipment, components, or systems. Familiar with mathematical and engineering principles and methods used to design electrical systems. Electrical Engineer I provide support to and is guided by more experienced engineers on electrical infrastructure, drawings, and maintenance projects. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role under close supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Electrical Engineers have duties and responsibilities that focus on safety, sustainable design, and quality assurance. They design, develop electrical systems documents. Electrical Engineers provide support for electrical work in the manufacturing, and construction industries. Their duties and responsibilities include:

• Produce and review 3D design drawings for high technology facilities in accordance with project requirements, codes, specifications, and procedures.

• Responsible for coordination & multidiscipline clash checking including the resolving of issues using Navisworks.

• Site surveys of existing services to ascertain “As built” conditions.

• Ability to arrange electrical equipment on plan drawings and create single-line diagrams.
