Responsibilities

Report to Independence Tooling Operations Manager
Perform general building and vehicle maintenance tasks, ensuring facilities are safe and functional
Handle deliveries and pickups efficiently
Maintain grounds and outdoor areas, including landscaping and minor repairs
Engage in general labor and construction tasks as needed
Collaborate with various departments within the shop, such as Fixture Build and CNC Machining, to support their operations

Qualifications

Must possess a valid driver’s license for transportation needs
Demonstrated ability to understand and work with mechanical systems
Comfortable using hand tools and power tools for maintenance and repair tasks
Enjoys working with hands and solving practical problems
Willingness to learn and adapt to changing workloads
Prepared to work overtime when necessary, adjusting hours based on project demands

Preferred QualificationsPrior exposure to a manufacturing or build environment
Familiarity with operating shop machinery is highly advantageous
Interest in learning a trade such as welding, machining, fixture building, or quality assurance
