*I. Job Summary*
Under general supervision mechanics/ diesel technicians will perform preventive maintenance services and inspect, diagnose and repair vehicles and equipment for Leck Waste Services company fleet.

*II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned daily.

* Works under limited supervision and be able to perform from written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks on vehicles.
* Performs and completes repairs, signs in and out of work order and completes assigned preventive maintenance services.
* Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
* Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns as soon as possible to assist downed drivers.
* Conducts a thorough safety check on vehicles.
* Prepares and completes work orders utilizing Fleetio fleet maintenance software program. Fleetio organizes, and is efficiently used for repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and tracks repair times.
* Reviews, completes or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
* Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

*Qualifications*
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job as a Leck Waste Service Mechanic/ Diesel Technician.

A. Education and Experience

* Education: Not required.
* Experience: Two (2) years of relevant work experience.

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

* Valid Commercial driver’s license (class B)
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Legally eligible to work in the United States.
* Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
* Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening, a physical, and a background check, which will include previous employment check, criminal history and motor vehicle record review.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
