Position Summary:
The Sub Assembly Assembler I is responsible for assembling and testing company products. This role may specialize in particular products or processes and requires adherence to all work area-related processes and procedures. The assembler utilizes hand tools, small power equipment, and other special fixtures to complete tasks. Additionally, the role requires accurate and timely completion of paperwork and the maintenance of the work area, tools, and equipment. Responsibilities:
- Assemble a wide range of products using drawings, work instructions, and tests to meet performance specifications.
- Build assembly kits and complete required documentation.
- Adhere to product quality standards and standard operating procedures.
- Provide support and feedback to team leads and engineering.
- Utilize the inventory management system (Kanban, cycle counting, physical inventory).
- Perform material handling, receiving, and stocking of materials.
- Adhere to facility safety and health requirements and wear prescribed PPE.
- Maintain work area, tools, and equipment.
- Focus on continuous improvement by applying 80/20, PLS principles/techniques, and recommending process improvements to management.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations and practices.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to inspect and manipulate small and delicate items using various tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
- Good decision-making skills.
- Ability to maintain high productivity on repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, type, bend, and reach outward.
- Occasionally required to sit, twist/turn, crawl, reach above shoulder, and squat.
- Must carry up to 10 pounds constantly, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Must push and pull up to 10 pounds constantly, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Specific vision abilities required include concentrated attention, close vision, far vision, depth perception, color vision, and sharp focus.

- Constant exposure to machinery and loud noises; frequent exposure to chemicals.
