Our Client, a leader in commercial real estate and facilities/asset management is seeking to add a *Building Engineer* to its team. This role will work in *Wheat Ridge, CO *and *works Monday – Friday, 7am – 3:30pm. *This is a *contract to hire role* that pays *$27-29 per hour.* Upon conversion this role offers increased compensation,an annual bonus plan, and a strong benefit package.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Manage day-to-day maintenance operations at industrial and healthcare sites, including HVAC systems, general equipment, and refrigeration units.
* Perform preventive maintenance and repair tasks as needed to ensure the reliability and safety of facility systems.
* Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to schedule and oversee maintenance and repair projects.
* Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and address any issues promptly.
* Drive between sites as needed (approximately few times a week) using company-provided van.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.

*Must-Haves:*
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
* Minimum of four years of related experience in industrial maintenance or healthcare building management.
* Additional certification in one or more of the following areas: electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair.

*Nice-to-Haves:*
* Universal CFC certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
