Volt is immediately hiring a Hardware Engineer in Fremont, CA.
As a Hardware Engineer - you will:
- Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to R&D, manufacturing, and customer.
- Solve the engineering issue timely.
- Analyze the failures and collaborate with R&D to find out the root cause.
- Manage and guide the transition of products into production.
- Review and guide the troubleshooting/repair direction.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Education and Experience: bachelor’s degree, master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, with a minimum 3 years of professional experience
- Knowledge of/Experience in/Proficiency in server/storage/PC hardware architecture
- Demonstrated analytical critical thinking skills and communication skills.
- Experience working in manufacturing and/or product development role.
- Firsthand lab debug experience with scopes is desirable.
- Experience in designing circuit boards is desirable Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
- Requirements are subject to change, if necessary, to comply with departments needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and diligence.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
This is a Full Time opportunity.
Schedule: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Pay: $40-43/Hourly
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
