PreCon Responsibilities: Meets with Stakeholders on prospective projects to discuss specific needs Prepares estimates and proposes pricing to Stakeholders for projects ranging from $50,000 to $50,000,000 Prepares spreadsheets, job-specific data, and portfolios to be used in the sales cycle of projects Attends preconstruction meetings as necessary to maintain constant contact with Stakeholders Ability to write overall project specific communication plans Obtains plans and specifications Reviews specs and plans prior to job walk to become familiar with the scope of work to be bid, including alterations Negotiates contracts/projects while maintaining CDCM’s financial interests regarding margin Quality/Safety Responsibilities Obtains or possesses OSHA Certification Responsible for recognizing job hazards, and conveying any safety repots to onsite management Creates and enforces written safety training plans, while adhering to OSHA standards Creates job startup checklists and conducts project kickoff meetings Reviews estimates and bids with Project Team Writes project specific Quality Control plans Has a sound understanding of Contracts, Construction Law, and Current Code Reviews Job Cost Breakdown for accuracy prior to being input into the accounting system Creates project-specific budgets for all projects, ensuring accuracy of the report Reviews/executes owner contracts on all projects, ensuring that CDCM does not unknowingly agree to hold harmless clauses and/or liquidated damage claims Reviews estimates prior to submission while understanding job-specific scope of work Assures weekly OAC and Subcontractor meetings are held, and that proper meeting minutes/agendas are recorded Skills and Abilities: Must have the capacity to run multiple projects Must maintain client confidentiality Exceptional oral and written communication skills Buildertrend, BuildingConnected and Procore Excellent financial aptitude with ability to create usable formatted spreadsheets Ability to exercise sound independent judgment Strong knowledge of construction methods and construction safety laws Positive and motivational attitude Follows office policies and procedures as outlined Must be willing and able to assist and train peers as needed Experience and Education: Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field a plus, but not required Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the construction industry Obtains or possesses OSHA Certification Qualified candidates will be required to submit to a background screening upon acceptance of an offer #J-18808-Ljbffr
