Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Commercial Construction Superintendent with 3-4 years of experience in multi-family construction. The ideal candidate will support the lead superintendent in managing day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards.
Assistant Superintendent Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead superintendent in planning, scheduling, and overseeing all construction activities on-site.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor construction progress and address any issues or delays in collaboration with the lead superintendent.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in reviewing and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Support the lead superintendent in maintaining communication with stakeholders, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
- Assist in maintaining project documentation, including daily reports, logs, and records.
Assistant Superintendent Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of experience in multi-family construction.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
